The hotel has beautiful grounds and a lovely location, but the dining experience left much to be desired. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, they feel dated and could use a refresh. Service was generally pleasant, but the restaurant food quality was inconsistent, detracting from the overall stay. The pools were nice but not as warm as I had hoped.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable but felt more like an old, dirty apartment. They had a fireplace, which was nice, but the space is getting dated and could do with a refresh soon.
Service
8.0
Service was generally pleasant, especially at dinner with Amanda and Christine, who were exceptional despite the busy environment. They even offered a $50 credit on our bill, which was a nice touch.
Location
9.0
The location is lovely with beautiful grounds, perfect for a relaxing walk. It's well situated near the spa pools, which were clean and quiet.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was quite inconsistent. While some meals were good, others, like the duck, were tough and over-salted, which was disappointing. Breakfast was average and uninspired.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities, including the pools, were decent but not warm enough to enjoy fully. They felt a bit small for the number of guests.

My stay at Millcroft was quite an experience! The grounds were beautiful and well-kept, and I loved lounging by the spa pools. However, I did encounter a few hiccups during my stay, and there were times the atmosphere felt busy, which took away from the relaxation I hoped for.

Rooms

We stayed in a croft room, which was cozy and nicely decorated with an antique dresser and a wing chair. The layout overlooking the pond was a major plus, though it felt a bit dated overall.
Service
7.0
Service was friendly and welcoming, but the spa area felt a little too busy and chaotic at times. A better implementation of spa etiquette would surely improve the overall experience.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a delightful location, offering a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The outdoor areas were charming, although accessing the spa required navigating a few stairs.
Dining
8.0
Dining was good, with simple yet delicious food. I was part of a package that made it more enjoyable, but it would have been nice to see a more varied menu for lunch.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were nice, particularly the pool areas, which were clean and well-maintained. However, some parts looked a bit tired.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The grounds were lovely and the dining options were excellent, but the cleanliness of the room and some facilities left much to be desired. While the proximity to the spa was a plus, the overall service didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, the issues with cleanliness and maintenance overshadowed what could have been a great stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room was tidy but in need of a deep clean. There were signs of mold and it felt a bit worn out.
Service

While the staff was mostly kind and trying their best, they seemed overwhelmed and unable to address issues promptly.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and provided plenty of opportunities to explore nature, but some areas were neglected.

Dining was a highlight, with a great variety of tasty options, particularly at breakfast.
Facilities

Facilities like the spa were a nice touch, but the maintenance could be improved, especially in the hot tub area.

We had a lovely weekend stay at the hotel for our anniversary. The croft room was clean and comfortable but could use some updates. While the outdoor hot tub was great, the mosquitoes made it hard to enjoy fully. The dining options were delicious overall, though the prices felt a bit high. We appreciated the friendly service and the effort to accommodate our dietary restrictions. However, the grounds could use some cleanup.

My stay at the Millcroft was an enchanting getaway. The serene grounds and gorgeous views were a highlight, offering beautiful spots for relaxation. I enjoyed a romantic evening by the fireplace, yet I faced some issues with the room's cleanliness and comfort. The dining experience was delightful, though the price seemed a bit steep for the overall value provided.

Rooms

The Croft room had a charming feel but was somewhat outdated. I found the bed uncomfortable, which affected my sleep quality significantly.
Service

Service was a mixed bag; while my dining experience was elevated by attentive staff, some of the reception team appeared indifferent to my concerns.
Location

Dining was a pleasure, especially enjoying breakfast with a view of the waterfall. However, dinner prices felt quite high for what we received.
